TSR Recycling GmbH & Co. KG, the largest entity of Remondis SE & Co. KG, went live with RECY, Version 6, on June 18, 2018. The migration from version 5 to the new version 6 at one of our largest customers with over 70 sites and 500 users followed a test and preparation period of eight months. The move from a 20 year old database to a modern environment with Microsoft SQL database and .NET platform was a huge challenge as the data was not only migrated by mapped into a differently structured business data.
The TSR project team did an outstanding job with testing, training, organization and support. The second monthly closing for July 2018 was completed successfully beginning of August.
Another company of the group, TSR Metals GmbH & Co. KG, went also live on June 18. Other companies owned by TSR, namely HKS Metals B.V., the largest metal recycler in the Netherlands, WSA GmbH, and MSW Metallhandel Südwest GmbH went live in October 2017 and March 2018, respectively.
The TSR Group is using the complete RECY ERP system, including inventory management, production, logistics, financials, oversea containers, as well as Data Warehouse and BI.
